Toratake Geta are stylish paulownia geta made of tiger bamboo. Paulownia wood is light, soft, and highly hygroscopic, so it has long been used as a material for high-end wooden geta. The tiger bamboo cut into precise squares and arranged on the base of the paulownia geta is just beautiful.
Japan’s only tiger bamboo became geta sandals.
Compared to the old days, the opportunities to wear geta have decreased considerably. That’s why it’s an excellent product for creating a luxurious and relaxing time. When you walk around in these geta, even the usual road will look different!
The heel part of the geta is doubled to increase height and durability.

It is a pattern that expresses "yukimochi" where the branches and leaves are covered with snow. The highlight of this pattern is the expression of fine snow powder and the simple structure of the branches. You can enjoy how to arrange the branches like a picture. This "yukimochi" was originally created as a pattern for yukata. Did it look cool under the midsummer sunshine? For this tenugui, Ise Katagami -owned by Marukyu Shōten- was used.
